Dr. Ochoa is passionate about teaching Spanish and social-emotional learning, including soft and advocacy skills to be a successful leader and especially entering the job market. She is a native Spanish speaker from Peru who enjoys and has a passion for helping teams and college international students to become effective leaders. Her main focus is to help students meet their leadership and educational goals through coaching and emotional learning training. ​Dr. Ochoa implements customized coaching and emotional learning training as best practices.

She has a Doctor of Education with a specialization in curriculum development. Dr. Ochoa is a dedicated leader in education, and she teaches Spanish, organizational psychology, and emotional intelligence to college graduate students to increase student's impact and fulfilling their goals. Dr. Ochoa's main goal is to assist professionals and college students with their leadership goals to help with their career goals. She has been helping many teams in educational settings and coaching students. Her coaching sessions consist of customized goal setting and the 5 steps to increase their impact to assert their growing independence and manage their tasks and emotions that go along with them for almost 6 years. She strongly believes that professionals and students require social and emotional support learning, and soft skill training to be successful as future leaders. Based on her 7 years of experience as a teacher, coach, and researcher she helped many professionals and students to overcome many obstacles and learning challenges. Dr. Ochoa also teaches leadership education courses at the graduate level. She enjoys adding value to professionals and students to motivate them to work effectively as organizational leaders in the future. She consistently strives for excellence to make a difference in education.
